ims company logoDuring the development of Mod4U® we asked ourselves how technical possibilities can be utilized for communication. Because, technology enables people to communicate in a different way, perhaps more effective, structured. Proper and clear communication is of the utmost importance, which is why our company logo expresses exactly that.

Available modules

Mod4U® is a web application with iModules, build for you with care. The following modules are available for the purpose of communication:

  • blog
  • Forum
  • Product support, free and paid
  • Wish list
  • Poll and news

Blog

A Blog - which is becoming more popular on the Internet of today - has the purpose to list the adventures of a person in the layout of a diary. This prevents the need to communicate the same for multiple times.

Within Mod4U® you can have multiple blogs, each with its own purpose or audience. The blog module has the following characteristics:

  • In the user administration you can indicate which users are in the role of Blog users or Blog authors.
  • In the maintenance of forums you can create blogs and possibly make the created Blog accessible for guests. Rights for reading and writing can be set per user.
  • The author has the possibility to add a comment. Date and time are added automatically. The author may also decide to leave this new comment public or only invisible for colleagues.
  • The author and administrator have the possibility to delete a comment.

Forum

A discussion forum can serve both social purposes as a organization. Within Mod4U® you can have multiple forums, each with its own purpose or audience. The forum module has the following characteristics:

  • In the user administration you can indicate which users are in the role of Forum users or Forum moderators.
  • In the maintenance of forums you can create Forums and possibly make the created Forum accessible for guests. Rights for reading and writing can be set per user.
  • In the page of topics a new topic can be added. The administrator has the possibility to delete a topic.
  • A user can indicate the wish to receive automated notifications by email, when another user adds a topic.
  • While adding a topic, subject and description can be entered. The author may also decide to leave this new comment public or only visible for colleagues.
  • Users can indicate the wish to receive automated notifications by email, when another user adds a topic. Users can add comments to exiting topics, while indicating if the comment is public only visible for colleagues.
  • Users can add files to a topic, using upload. The allowed file types are limited to .jpg, .gif, .doc, .xls, .pdf, .odt, .ods en .txt. After upload, these files are shown in the topic as downloadable files.

Product support

This module has the purpose to offer a platform for product support, which could be free or paid. In the last case users will have to purchase credits in advance. Each time a support topic is issued, one credit will automatically debited.

Within Mod4U® you can have multiple support forums, each with its own purpose or audience. The support module has the following characteristics:

  • In the user administration you can indicate which users are in the role of Support customer or helpdesk employee.
  • In the maintenance of forums you can create support forums and possibly make it paid or accessible for guests. Rights for reading and writing can be set per user.
  • A user can indicate the wish to receive automated notifications by email, when another user adds a topic.
  • While adding a topic, subject, description, status and priority can be entered. The author may also decide to leave this new comment public or only visible for colleagues.
  • Users can indicate the wish to receive automated notifications by email, when another user adds a topic. Users can add comments to exiting topics, while indicating if the comment is public only visible for colleagues.
  • Users can add files to a topic, using upload. The allowed file types are limited to .jpg, .gif, .doc, .xls, .pdf, .odt, .ods en .txt. After upload, thes files are shown in the topic as downloabable files.
  • A topic usually has a status. This can be: "None", "To be answered by helpdesk", "To be answered by customer" or "Closed".

Wish list

This module has the purpose to offer a platform to communicate wishes or requirements, internal or of customers.

Within Mod4U® you can have multiple wish lists, each with its own purpose or audience. The wish list module has the following characteristics:

  • In the user administration you can indicate which users are in the role of Wish list user or Wish list moderator.
  • In the maintenance of forums you can create wish lists and make it paid or accessible for guests. Rights for reading and writing can be set per user.
  • In the page of topics a new topic can be added. The administrator has the possibility to delete a topic.
  • A user can indicate the wish to receive automated notifications by email, when another user adds a topic.
  • While adding a topic, subject, description, status, priority and the person who should take action can be entered. The author may also decide to leave this new comment public or only visible for colleagues.
  • Users can indicate the wish to receive automated notifications by email, when another user adds a topic. Users can add comments to exiting topics, while indicating if the comment is public only visible for colleagues.
  • Users can add files to a topic, using upload. The allowed file types are limited to .jpg, .gif, .doc, .xls, .pdf, .odt, .ods en .txt. After upload, thes files are shown in the topic as downloadable files.
  • A topic usually has a status. This can be: "Internal discussion", "Supplier, please make a quotation", "Supplier, please provide feedback", "Currently in production" or "Delivered".

Poll and news

Using the Mod4U® CMS (Content Management Systeem) you can define polls and news tickers.
